ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists assigned staff, performs office and clerical assignments and general program support.
Assists supervisor by maintaining records, appointments and general knowledge base of the various services within the Family Center network.
Assists with group activities, observes children and reports changes in behavior, attitude or physical condition to program supervisor in a timely manner; reports emergency situations immediately.
Maintains the cleanliness and order in the program area.
Processes information, screens calls and correspondence and maintains office area.
Monitors students performing community service activities.
Responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining all program records, information, correspondence, forms, supply requisitions, etc., ensuring the accuracy, format, grammar, timeliness and completeness of same.
Maintains appropriate communications with all program staff and families.
Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work split shifts and flexibility to move to various locations, when program needs dictate.
Ability to transport oneself and/or clients as program needs dictate.
Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the PA State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the PA Department of Public Welfare, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
