ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Design, implement and evaluate the occupational therapy component of the infants and toddler service plans.
Practice standard occupational therapy modalities to develop proficiency.
Participate as a multi-disciplinary team member for the children and families served.
Consult with teaching staff to specialize methodology of interventions within the family routines.
Coordinate occupational therapy services with the discipline team responsible for the total plan for each child.
Documentation of records and related reports.
Maintain twenty-four (24) hours of related training annually.
Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pennsylvania License to practice Occupational Therapy.
Pediatric experience preferred.
Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the Pennsylvania State Police and Child Abuse Clearance from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, program staff and other agency personnel.
Ability to transport oneself as program needs dictate.
Ability to assist and/or lift children weighing up to 50 pounds, as may be required.
