POSITION:     Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (Full time)     Step by Step Child Development Program/Early Intervention      WAGE:     Highly Competitive

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Designs, implements and evaluates the speech therapy component of the infants and toddler service plans.

• Provides speech therapy services to children who qualify for Early Intervention services.

• Participates as needed in meetings to coordinate the care of an individual child

• Provides for the preparation of service plans with progress notes and observations incorporated in the child records.

• Submits services and evaluations per child service plans.

• Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, certification as a CCC-SLP from ASHA and licensed in the State of Pennsylvania.

• Pediatric experience preferred.

• Malpractice Insurance

• Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the Pennsylvania State Police and Child Abuse Clearance from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, program staff and other agency personnel.

• Ability to transport oneself as program needs dictate.

• Ability to assist and/or lift children weighing up to 50 pounds, as may be required.
